  3. Turn off Auto Standby with No Signal

    If your TV has an Auto Standby with No Signal setting, set it to Off, so you don't have to pair again. We haven't confirmed where it is on Toshiba VIDAA TVs.

  4. Let your phone turn the TV on

    For turn on from standby

    Turn on Wake on Wireless Network (Wi-Fi) or Wake on LAN (wired) in the TV's network settings. We haven't confirmed the menu on Toshiba VIDAA TVs.

I can't find my model number
  1. Check the rating label on the back of the TV, per Toshiba UK.
The app asks me to pair again
  1. The TV forgot the pairing, usually after a power cut or Auto Standby with No Signal.
  2. Pair again: type the new 4-digit code shown on the TV.
  3. To make it happen less often, set Auto Standby with No Signal to Off.
The app can't find my TV
  1. Check that your iPhone and the TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Add the TV by its IP address. It's listed under Network Information in the TV's network settings.

Type the new 4-digit code the TV shows and carry on. To make it happen less often, set Auto Standby with No Signal to Off; on 2025 sets it's at Settings > System > Timer Settings.
