How we build the TV list
Every model number, platform and menu path on this site comes from the TV maker or an official product database, with the date we checked it.
Where the data comes from
TV makers’ product, support and manual pages, the EU product energy database (EPREL), ENERGY STAR and Google’s list of Android TV devices. Each page lists its sources at the bottom.
Exact codes, by country
The same series can run a different platform in the US and the UK, so we list codes by market and match the code you type exactly.
What counts as proof
A TV works when the app pairs with it and you see a command happen on screen. Showing up on the network, AirPlay, Chromecast or an open port doesn’t prove that, so we don’t count them. When we’ve tested a model line on a real TV, its page says so.
If your TV isn’t listed
We cover the main lines sold in the US and UK, not every regional variant. The free check in the app is the real test, and it costs nothing.
